The site is protected by law because of the fragile environment, as well as the geological and archaeological significance of the artifacts, rocks, animals and plants."
02. The Session
06/17/2022
Before I headed out to Colorado for my wedding I contacted Rachel an AMAZING photographer and good friend of mine who lives in Colorado Springs. (Check out her awesome work here www.racheljphoto.com). I told her that I would be in her area and definitely wanted to meet up and set something up so we could shoot together again. She suggested the Paint mines, which I was on board immediately, and she got to work setting everything else up. (If you're reading this Rachel I MISS YOU ALREADY!)
03. The Couple
Hayley & Jackson
Hayley and Jackson were naturals in front of the camera! Rachel had Hayley pick out a red dress which popped against the badlands!
PRO TIP: When choosing an outfit for your engagement session look for colors that will stand out in your surroundings.
For example, if you’re in a lush green forest opt for a bright colored look instead of dark green or browns. That way you won’t blend in to your surroundings and you become the main focus on the image.
Check out these super fun images from the shoot!
